arttrap II

so far, a buffet of responses, ranging from "i like this a lot"
to "this is really creepy alice"...

fellow hartford art school lover b badge helped me with the
final stages of this print, so, shout out to brit.
sutanya r. dacres was my patient model for the two hours
it took to make the duck not fall over.

i've been working on and off with digital photography since the
fall of last year. i have a collection of small items that i'm trying
to use as props on/ with people (as seen here, small rubber
duck inside sutanya's belly button), and so far, i'm liking some of
the results.

arttrap I

still have some final touches... like evening out
some of the layers of dark blue, and touching up
the turquoise in back of her head.

was also planning on working on the plants a bit more.

anyway, those are marbles coming out of her pockets,
not bubbles.

cheers.

everything is everywhere

the ground hides the stars,
and the floors of every ocean.

; i've listened to this 1,000,000 times this week.

so the hours should be instructed by the ages,
and the ages explained by the hours.

the sea was searched,
the land was found,
and all the while,
you slept,
and forgot me.

marked tracks,
the earth surrounds her
the green fog is near

blindly stuck,
her lids take flight
the green fog is near

sea sick arrest,
palms tremble and flood
the green fog is near

and i forgot the way she stayed up at night
and i forgot her voice by light
and i regret the morning aches
loose bones,
cold tide,
ship brakes

she laid
held tight to table ends and eager birds-
the poem that dies inside me

i awake without her
climbing still
feet yelling at the grass
to never forget
the view.
it receives.
daily.

look up child,
and never below
the green fog is near
